BSES Meter Replacement

- A team comprising experts engineers that are thoroughly versed in meter technology as well as process of replacement contacts and brief the replacement process to consumer or representative of consumer.
- A date is agreed upon mutually by consumer and the team on which team reaches the premise of consumer to test his previous meter as well as to provide the details regarding the existing meter’s further usability
- Additional task regarding service line and bus bar is would be noted down
- If it is found that meter needs to be changed during testing, team changes the meter against BSES stock meter; if meter testing by BSES is not satisfactory to the consumer:
- Consumer has the right to test his meter by BSES
- Consumer has the right to test his meter by CPRI
- Consumer also has the right to use his self procured meter which is in compliance with specifications of BSES. The self procured meter gets fixed in span of three days from date of submission of meter for test in laboratories of BSES. Addresses of authorized BSES laboratories, specification, and make are mentioned on below links. Correct specification and make of meter should be ensured by consumer. - If test result does not pose satisfactory to consumer, he can get a Checked meter installed in order to compare existing old meter performance. After the test, if existing old meter comes out to be defective, the past six months bills of consumer get rectified according to above 3rd point
- On fixed scheduled date, the meter will be changed by team of Meter Management. Under BSES employees’ supervision, all meter are changed
